Welcome to Blue Rock! We are excited for this opportunity to step out in faith to begin our own counseling and life coaching practice. This has been a journey that began over two decades ago when Todd and I met a family at a marriage enrichment retreat that used their marriage and family as a ministry tool. We were inspired by this family’s work and their dream to one day open up a retreat center, and it sparked something in us that we have worked to foster in our own lives.
The last 16 years have been working to develop a final goal of building our own retreat center and offering Christian retreats and marriage intensives along with private counseling and life coaching on site for those who are in need of respite. One of our first steps in this process was for both of us to go back to school. I, Diana, went back to school to pursue my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University which was completed in 2014. In 2015, Todd completed his degree in Psychology and Life Coaching also from Liberty University. I currently hold a license in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) from the NC State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy. Todd is a Board Certified Advanced Christian Life Coach through the Board of Christian Life Coaches (BCLC). Todd currently works with our husbands and fathers and Alex Bryant, our newest addition, will be working with the younger guys.
We are excited to have completed that first step and now have worked to acquire office space thanks to the generosity of friends and members of the community. We are now accepting new clients at our King location. We each specialize in our own areas but share a common approach of offering Biblical based principles that offer the integration of the Christian faith in our sessions.
